Position Description:
We are seeking Prog Dev&Eval Analyst I to join the Industrial Certification Division (ICD).

The ICD is responsible for training and assessment of employees and contractors through certification programs, to ensure that everyone is fully certified to perform tasks to international standards.

The primary role will be as Safety Advisor. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating all the safety related issues, and develop and update the safety processes, and ensure their compliance for the organization to have a safe working environment.

Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will hold a bachelor's degree in engineering with a safety discipline, or a bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: English, mathematics, chemistry, physics, engineering or information technology. A master's degree is desirable.

You will have 8 of years experience in academic education or vocational training. This should include a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in instructional design of training programs, development and evaluation, curriculum, and test development.

You must have fluency in English.
You must Experience with safety in the engineering field.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and update safety management processes
Develop and update emergency response plans and credible scenarios
Plan and conduct fire drills and drill assessment
Ensure compliance of safety management systems
Conduct safety inspections of equipment and buildings
Coordinate and address safety issues with other departments
Provide safety training and employee orientation
Conduct safety talks and arrange safety meetings
Organize safety awareness campaigns
Report safety compliance and present to management
Identify hazards and risk assessments
Perform root cause analysis for safety incidents and injuries
Field visits and work permits audit
Maintain and monitor safety records and report safety statistics
Update safety training matrix and monitor compliance
Encourage safe practices, safety suggestions and follow up for implementation
Align safety management processes with operation excellence
Promote safe work culture in the organization
