We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to join Corporate Maintenance Services (CMS), an organization under the Industrial Services Admin Area.
CMS continuously promotes and drives change towards achieving and sustaining excellence in maintenance; focuses on developing and implementing maintenance solutions in plant reliability, turnaround, maintenance systems and maintenance workforce development; develops corporate maintenance KPIs to monitor Saudi Aramco maintenance organizations performance; provides the required assistance for maintenance organizations to overcome their performance gaps; and works with supporting organizations to ensure that services provided to maintenance organizations are optimized.
The reliability engineer’s primary role is to facilitate the execution of corporate reliability programs companywide. That will include the implementation, follow-up, and assessment of the Total Plant Reliability Management (TPRM) program, Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System, and other corporate reliability-related initiatives.
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from a recognized university.
You will have 15 years of experience, in particular in the oil and gas sector in the fields of plant maintenance and reliability. This includes field experience in various types of equipment reliability program execution, e.g., Reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM), Preventive Maintenance Optimization (PMO) and others.
Preferable for the candidate to be a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), with excellent English communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships and work as a good team player.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Support company field organizations to implement and sustain corporate reliability initiatives.
Provide training sessions and workshops to elevate the level of understanding of reliability culture and programs.
Conduct performance assessments to evaluate reliability initiative implementation and compliance; in addition to providing recommendations to close identified gaps.
Perform statistical analysis of process and business data for decision-making and improvements in asset maintenance policy and tasks.
Implement Standardized Maintenance best practices throughout all company facilities.
Continually identify industry trends and developments, incorporating new or better techniques or technologies into own operational area, and ensure that this knowledge is shared with others across maintenance.
Development of standards and procedures for maintenance practices, in line with the Company’s maintenance strategy.
Prepare and issue maintenance policies and strategies, including determination of equipment criticality and defining the necessary rules and analysis required for best maintenance type for each system.
Carry out internal and external benchmark on reliability and maintenance performance.
Develops specialized indices to aid in evaluating the maintenance being performed.
Acquires and analyzes reliability data, either generated from SAP or collected from other sources.
Provides leadership and direction to the development, implementation, and maintenance of the reliability culture, work processes, and tools that support the sites efforts to reduce business risk.
Ensures that work processes are best-in-class, reflecting expectations, best practices, and shared knowledge that exists internal and external to the Business Unit.
Lead the design for maintainability reviews for all projects, throughout the whole project cycle.
