We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join the Domestic Joint Venture Management Department.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the negotiation and developments of the terms for Saudi Aramco sales of refined products, LPG, Sulfur, petrochemicals, and lube-oils in an assigned area of responsibility.
The subject matter expert will provide the highest level of technical and professional advice and guidance, regarding marketing issues and responsible for leading teams of professionals, from various organizations to address and resolve matters that will be presented at JV Board meetings. Has a general perspective on refineries, lube and petrochemical company operations and issues, and looks for ways to introduce best practices to enhance company profitability and productivity, from the product sales and marketing prospective. Promotes innovative solutions to solve marketing problems or increase revenue through novel applications of transfer price formulas.
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or another technical field from a recognized and approved program. Advanced graduate degrees or certificates are desirable in business related areas; i.e., MBA, Master of Economics, Financial Management, CFA, or other professional certifications.
You will have fifteen years of experience in in the energy industry. With a minimum of 3-5 years of working experience as an economic, business, or financial analyst and a minimum of ten years in refined products sales & marketing, or trading price setting, or formulation role.
As a subject matter expert, you will have the following:
Proficiency in a wide variety of statistical, financial, and analytical tools.
Knowledge of oil market dynamics and price setting mechanisms within and between energy sectors.
Experience in value and competitiveness analysis. And a broad knowledge in Strategic, Business and Operational planning and performance analysis, relating to the supply and distribution, and marketing of refined petroleum products to end-use customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As the successful candidate, you will be required to perform the following:
Monitor refined products pricing, relative to crude values and other market trends. Study, analyze, and report on local economic and business environment, energy supply/demand outlook, and advise on strategic, crude, gas, petrochemical and refined product pricing and economics.
Make contact with Saudi Aramco organizations, joint ventures, and subsidiaries to negotiate and develop transfer pricing arrangements and pricing mechanisms. Review sales pricing agreements with internal and external parties, as well as developing performance indicators and analyzing effectiveness of product pricing formulas.
Organize, mobilize, supervise, and evaluate outside consultants for solving specific Company problems as the need arises. Provide expert advice and guidance on problems related to planning management, analytical personnel and executive management.
Regularly meet with clients to discuss performance results, operations reviews, work management process reviews, benchmarking reviews, etc.; monthly and quarterly meetings will be used to evaluate performance results and address issues and overall business objectives.
