Position Description:
We are seeking a Petroleum Sales and Supply Logistics Manager to join the Market Analysis and Hydrocarbon Reconciliation (MAHR) of Downstream Capital Portfolio Planning Department (DCPPD).

The MAHR is responsible for providing the market information and data required to be used in the department investment and capital planning process. This information is gathered based on in-house outlooks, external and special outlooks, as well as updated market, country, products, and business premises. The market information and data should reflect to DCPPD the outside environment and opportunities/threats related to the downstream facilities/products. This approach is to enable the investment and capital programs to be geared towards maximizing the capture of international opportunities, while managing threats.

The incumbent primary role is to reflect the applicable outside-in market and economical parameters, to drive the downstream (downstream of oil production) strategy refresh, capital portfolio prioritization, and initiate special studies to manage the business capital expenditure, commercially and economically.

Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you should hold a bachelor degree in engineering, economics, marketing, or business. An advanced degree is preferred.

You must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in oil, refined products, and/or petrochemical market and economics, including at least 5 years in future market diagnostics, and oil or petrochemical business economics for international companies, specialized in oil, refined products, petrochemical products, energy, and/or finance and economics.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You are expected to perform the following:

Lead the know-how process and deliverables in establishing special market and economic analysis for oil companies in developing the business strategies, investment plans, and holistic opportunities capturing.

Provide in-depth analysis of the crude, gas, refined products, and petrochemical products market and economics.

Develop the different market assessments to indicate the company’s current competitive position, future target, and path forward to reach the targeted position.

Perform the economic analysis for the capital programs, projects, and investments, including financial measures and performance indicators.

Provide guidance for analyzing the downstream business opportunities, threats, regulations change, and innovations that would have direct or indirect impact on the business or the capital projects.

Train MAHR/DCPPD staff and young talents on market analysis processes and best practices, economics evaluation mechanism of opportunities and special projects, and the development of professional and international market and economics reports, presentations, and highlights.

Establish economic models to support capital planning investment decisions and prioritization.

Develop three-dimensional viability programs (market-economics-investment) to help in optimizing and deciding on the capital investment plans.

Coordinate with Saudi Aramco corporate centers on the downstream prospective for the basis, assumptions, and symptoms of the future (long-term) market conditions related to the downstream products.
