Position Description:
We are seeking a Head of Analytics and Data Management to join the Strategic Studies and Marketing Analysis Division of Crude Oil Sales and Marketing Dept.

The Strategic Studies and Marketing Analysis Division is responsible for the department’s strategy, market intelligence, market analysis, planning and reporting activities, oil pricing support, modelling and data management.

The primary role of the Head of Analytics and Data Management is to lead the in-house modeling, manage external big data projects and handle the department’s data bank.

Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or other related degrees from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline is preferred.

You will have ten to twenty years’ experience between Oil and Gas marketing and IT. Experience shall include modelling, automation, process improvement, oil market and financial analysis, and programming Python, JS, C#, SQL and VBA for Excel.

Duties & Responsibilities:
As a subject matter expert you will be required to perform the following:

Mentor and coach a team of Developers and Data Scientists

Build in-house descriptive and predictive models

Convert qualitative decisions into quantitative through LP modeling

Optimize annual global sales and placement strategy

Generate pricing suggestions through understanding price elasticity of customers

Develop and predicting future outcomes based on historical data

Automate and improving reports related to marketing, operations, finance and other disciplines
