Position Description:
We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the Geomatics Services Division of Project management office Department.

The Geomatics Services Division is responsible for providing Saudi Aramco with reliable, accurate, and value-added Geomatics services that meet proponents’ needs in a timely and cost effective manner.

The Maintenance Engineer primary role is to plan, schedule and assure completion of assigned maintenance work for a given maintenance area or maintenance function; In addition, analyze manpower, equipment and materials requirements and applies performance standards for maintenance work and evaluates actual performance against standards.

Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in [Engineering] from a recognized and approved program.

You will have five years’ experience in maintenance methods and practices.


You will have the Minimum Professional Proficiency in English language.

Good knowledge of the design and operating function of Aramco facilities and equipment is preferred

You will have the aptitude and ability to apply an engineering analysis and appraisal to maintenance techniques and practices.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:


Consult with and advise operating personnel to determine maintenance requirements and establish priorities for maintenance work. Analyze requests for maintenance work in his area and recommend work which can be economically assigned to contractor organizations and develops scope of work.

Develop and review maintenance schedules in detail; verifies initial estimate for labor, material, tools, equipment and shop work; reviews and verifies adequacy of estimated project cost prior to and during work progress

Ascertains completeness of scope of work, drawings and list of materials. Anticipates and initiates request for additional funds for indicated overruns of capital or special expense budget items. Recommends and justifies the use of overtime to meet scheduled project completions.

Ensures that periodic maintenance is performed in accordance with vendor recommendations and Aramco procedures and that maintenance logs and records are maintained. Reports to Maintenance Engineer I or II on components of a T&I or projects of a complex nature

Maintains job logs and initiates necessary documentation on contractor performance, material damage or loss claims, accident reports, job completion reports and contract payments.

Maintains current maintenance documentation. Insures hardware modifications are current with vendor Recommendations. Ensures adequate stocks of spare parts are available for the plant or area system. Performs special assignments as directed, utilizing Engineering knowledge and experience.

Checks out completion of maintenance and construction; verifies that tests are complete.

Prepares Engineering Reports on maintenance activities/methods and means for their improvement. Occasionally acts as Relief for Craft Foreman.

Review the MIR and investigate to determine causes for variation between Target and Actual and makes recommendations leading to improvement of Performance. Reviews Plans for major maintenance processes
