We are seeking a 3rd Line Support Engineer I to join the Computing Solutions Division of Computer Operations Department
The Computing Solutions Division is responsible for providing (24/7) services to ensure continuous, reliable, and secure Windows Infrastructure services in support of Saudi Aramco global operations. In addition, CSD is managing and supporting all workstations kingdom wide. CSD also provide access solution to Saudi Aramco extranet and manages corporate systems.
The 3rd Line Support Engineers primary role is to Provide Saudi Aramco Employees with a Reliable and Cost-effective corporate-wide support for Desktop infrastructure and Email and Desktop Access clients, by maintaining backend infrastructure (Exchange) and front end access (OWA/Outlook/Mobile), acting as 3rd level technical support & maintaining Windows operating system image
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Comp Engineering/Information technology/Information systems, from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is a plus.
You will have 5-7 years of experience in client side desktop & email support including at least 5 years in Email support.
You must have Adequate knowledge on supporting and administering IT systems such as Windows Operating System Administration and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
You must have knowledge on programing and scripting.
Ability to work with different team members on resolving challenging technical issues and problems on a timely manner is a requirement
Effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to team members, management and staff is also necessary
You will also have acceptable English language, and writing skills.
Adequate knowledge in information security principles is preferred
You will have the ability to quickly adapt knowledge and continuously eager for self-development.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Develop threat cases to protect Harden, secure and protect computing Infrastructure
Develop basic scripts achieve more efficient operations.
Familiar with SCCM product
Familiar with Windows Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
Provide 24x7 support to manage a vast landscape of computing infrastructure components.
Carry upgrades and patching activities during a maintenance window as required by the applications availability during and after business hours.
