We are currently seeking a Cash Management Specialist to join the Cash Management & Investment Division in our Treasury Organization. The Cash Management & Investment Division is within the Treasury Services Department (TSD) that is responsible for managing Saudi Aramco’s group cash flow in a manner that collects revenue, pays commitments, and invests excess funds optimally and efficiently, and is responsible for maintaining a reasonable and accurate short-term cash flow forecast. It is also responsible for ensuring that management and stakeholders are up to date with market developments and economic situations. The TSD is a part of the Finance Strategy & Development organization in Saudi Aramco and reports to the Treasurer. The objectives of the TSD are to provide and execute treasury and cash management services. The department seeks to effectively manage liquidity and treasury transaction operational risks. The department also seeks to provide and maintain the tools, techniques and capability to optimize cash balances, minimize short-term borrowing cost and optimize investment returns on cash, within boundaries of risk tolerance and liquidity constraints. Pursuit of optimal efficiency in treasury transaction processing through automation and process integration is also a department goal while providing and maintaining a coherent Treasury governance framework in an environment where staff have the opportunity to grow and develop.
Your major areas of responsibility are forecasting, cash flow analysis and modeling (developing and interpreting data used in highly confidential studies). You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on compliance both internally and externally for regulatory compliance. You will need to be able to mentor and train young talents. Your other duties will include performing non-routine financial or investment analysis projects as well as preparing reports, memos and presentations to senior finance management.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance (a master’s degree is desirable) and a minimum of 15 years of experience in multinational business or international finance. A strong background in financial management and analysis and forecasting is desirable. You should be proficient in English and be able to prepare technical reports. Also, experience in implementing finance IT solutions and utilizing trade finance instruments is required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Model, analyze and identify cash flow trends.
Monitor weekly cash position reports and obtain explanations for anomalies.
Compile compliance and performance reports for senior management.
Coordinate regular review of Treasury procedures, policies and guidelines.
Advise senior management on cash management issues.
Mentor and train new employees.
