Position Description:
We are seeking a HR Generalist to join the Public Affairs Support Services Division of the Public Relations Department.

The Public Affairs Support Services Division is responsible for providing support to three departments within the company’s Public Affairs organization: Public Relations, Public Relations Operations, and King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture. The Division is responsible for the effective performance of all administrative activities in the following areas; planning, budgeting, manpower, accountability reports, Information Technology (IT) support, and training for the entire Public Affairs organization

The HR Generalist is responsible for the coordination and implementation of integrated HR strategies and systems with emphasis on improving performance and talent management processes to meet organizational requirements. This includes adapting performance and talent management strategies to changing business directions and pursuits ensuring that Department-level recruitment, development, performance differentiation, leader selection and retention targeted objectives are met.

Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields from a recognized and approved program. You will have 7 to 12 years of overall progressive HR experience.
You must have solid knowledge of operational excellence concepts and safety standards. You must be proficient in using MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint applications. You will have Excellent English communications skills – written and spoken

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

Coordinate talent management activities related to employee recruitment, development, performance differentiation, selection and retention.

Develop Competency Maps and other areas of performance development.

Provide consulting and advisory services on day-to-day HR issues.

Execute department level strategic planning for human resource processes, policies, activities and outcomes.

Lead Operation Excellence (OE) activities and be the focal point of contact with the corporate OE department.

Handle safety tasks and activities among the department, covering risk assessment and management program, emergency preparedness program, communicating risk information to affected personnel, as well as safety performance goals and lessons learned to all employees. You will be the focal point of contact with the corporate Loss Prevention department.
