We are seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to join the Asset Performance & Integrity Division of Jazan Refinery Engineering Department.
The Asset Performance & Integrity Division is responsible for providing required engineering support for Jazan Refinery Complex by assuring integrity, performance and quality of plant assets by monitoring Quality of finished products, process and utility streams as per international and Saudi Aramco specifications
The Senior Laboratory Technician primary role is to coordinate activities of Laboratory Technicians in the assigned section and perform complicated test procedures
As the successful candidate you will have:
A diploma/bachelor degree in chemistry or similar field from a recognized and approved program with minimum of Seven (7) years relevant refinery laboratory experience.
Experience in laboratory testing in a refinery laboratory with CDU/VDU, hydrocracker, diesel hydrotreater, naphtha hydrottreater, aromatics complex, sulphur recovery units, utilities
Testing experience in laboratory, handling testing of gasification unit, tail gas treatment unit, IGCC SRU
Ability to demonstrate experience in oil refinery lab test procedures including ASTM, UOP, Shell and APHA methods of analysis
Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English
Computer literacy with competence in Microsoft Office products (i.e. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
Ensure that technicians in his unit follow the approved work Instructions & test methods
Oversee the implementation of quality control programs
Verify integrity of data before release to customers and generate LIMS reports
Perform sample analysis of routine and non-routine nature including complex testing procedures
Identify training and development needs of Laboratory technicians
