Position Description:
We are seeking a Planning & Performance Management Analyst to join the Planning & Performance Management Division (P&PM) of International Operations.

The P&PM division is responsible for providing, under the general direction of the head of the P&PM organization, analytical findings and recommendations across the scope of objectives and deliverables of the organization, either independently or in collaboration with others.

Minimum Requirements:
As a successful candidate you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related discipline. An advanced degree is preferred, but not required.

You must have a minimum of 9 years related experience in operational and financial analysis in petroleum refining or related businesses.

Solid knowledge and understanding of management accounting, finance and Excel is required.

Possession of an advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA, and CPA) is preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You are expected to be able to perform the following:

Identify problems and issues that arise in the employee’s assigned areas, and recommend solutions for these.

Provide analytical findings & recommendations relating to regular P&PM tasks such as business plan preparation, performance tracking and measurement, and performance analysis and accountability reporting.

Conduct special P&PM-related studies such as the development of performance initiatives and business cases, benchmarking, risk management, design and re-design of measurements, processes and workflows and information system-related changes.

Provide supervision, coordination and/or facilitation in the execution of regular and special tasks by other P&PM personnel.

Able to mentor other P&PM personnel on the practice of P&PM methodology.
