Chemical Engineer (Offshore Gas Facility)

We are seeking a Chemical Engineer to work under Northern Area Gas Producing Department serving Karan, Arabiyah and Hasbah offshore gas facilities in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Engineer will be part of Operation Engineering Unit that provides engineering and support services for offshore gas facilities. Daily activities includes operations support and new projects.
The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
You must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in process engineering.
You must have knowledge and experience of engineering support for operations of offshore gas facilities.
You should have experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up.
You should have experience in reviewing of project design deliverables.
You should have experience of participating in safety/model reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, QRA, 3D Model).
You must have safety oriented mindset and have worked in process safety conscious work environment
Duties & Responsibilities:
You are expected to be able to perform the following:
Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to identify and resolve the technical issues for safe and reliable operation of the facilities
Monitor the process parameters of the facilities and work with operations and maintenance teams to resolve any abnormalities.
Advise on process changes to meet the operating targets, initiating and follow up of all related engineering activities.
Assess the performance of the facilities on regular basis and propose the optimizations
Propose and implement design modifications to improve the safety, reliability and operational flexibility of the facilities.
Participate and lead the Management of Change (MOC) assignments.
Review, collate, and submit all BI-19 ER Packages for approval and release of funds.
Participate in equipment FAT and SAT.
