Serves as analytical support for IR operations and company external communications within the Investor Relations (IR) organization. Provides support in project management and content development on IR materials for executives and senior management. Analyzes multiple IR operational practices including: project delivery, investor targeting, consensus forecast monitoring, compliance, research monitoring, benchmarking, share price monitoring, events and road show organization and delivery. Serves as an interface between IR and corporate stakeholders for certain IR operational components to ensure accurate and timely information is used for external communications. Supports all IR organizations in the investor engagement, communications activities and the development of all IR presentation materials and execution of IR tasks, including roadshow events, etc. Gathers, Analyses and communicates feedback from capital markets.
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Corporate Communications or relevant fields is required. A relevant Master’s degree, including an M.B.A. would be preferred.
7+ years of investor relations, accounting, finance, strategic or corporate communications, equity research, fund management and/or investment banking experience. Investor relations core IR function experience is a plus. Preferred work experience from a publicly traded company that operated under a regulatory framework regarding investor information disclosure laws.
Experience in the oil & gas industry is a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides input and analysis for the development of the complex analysis, interfaces, information flows and event logistics. Leads the development of all IR presentation materials (e.g., , presentations for earnings calls, Capital Market Day, non-deal roadshows, real-time material disclosures, conference presentations, Q&A preparation, graphics and translation work etc.). Internal information flow maintenance and improvement that support the delivery of the presentations. Supports the communication with the investment community in one or more designated geographical areas.
Has strong working knowledge in the management of multiple IR tasks such as: shareholder register analysis, investor targeting, sell-side research monitoring, share price performance and market consensus information gathering, IR website and digital media management, regulatory compliance and liaison activities, event preparation and logistics, etc. Diligently maintains close contact with IR leadership to ensure the alignment of corporate communication messaging.
Formulates solutions, alternatives and recommendations on communication of Company strategy and performance on one or more major focus areas (e.g., Up and Downstream business, global industry context, capital program, etc.), taking the primary IR subject matter expert role for this/these focus area(s).
Provides recommendations on communication of Company strategy and performance on one or more major focus areas (e.g., Up and Downstream business, global industry context, capital program, etc.). As required, can take the primary IR subject matter role for one of these focus areas. Gathers feedback from the investment community through vital relationship management channels to support the development of IR presentation materials
Performs special assignments of highly complex nature significantly impacting the Company’s IR operations.
