Position Description:
We are seeking a Field Compliance Coordinator to work under Northern Area Gas Producing Department serving Karan, Arabiyah, Hasbah, Marjan and Khursaniyah offshore and onshore gas facilities in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The primary role of the job is to monitor all offshore operations/maintenance activities from safety point view and ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations. Also, it involves coaching, encouraging, teaching and training employees in safe and environmentally responsible work practices.

Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety engineering, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or in a related field. Supplementary industrial safety certifications is also required.

You must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in oil and gas industry related to safety.

You must have a high knowledge of international safety policies, standards, processes and procedures.

You should have safety oriented mindset and have worked in safety conscious work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You are expected to be able to perform the following:

Advise and assist operations, maintenance and engineering teams to ensure practices and plant conditions comply with all company policies, procedures and statutes.

Recommend, organize, and conduct audit programs to assess the status of the safety programs.

Ensure engagement from all offshore teams in the corporate safety program. Raising awareness and providing coaching where required to maintain standards.

Play a key role in hazard identification and risk analysis.

Assist operations and maintenance teams to provide regular audits of work permits. Reports results and tracks remedial actions until completed.

Perform gas tests for Confined Space Entry.

Monitor and support all safety initiatives and key performance indicators with a view to achieving zero lost time incidents.

Maintain full safety records and documentations that support implementations of the safety regulations and systems within his assigned area.
