DCS Network Engineer

Position Description:
Saudi Aramco’s Domestic Refining & NGL Fractionation team is seeking an experienced DCS Network Engineer to work in the Jazan Refinery. The refinery will have the capacity to process 400,000BPD of Arabian Heavy and Arabian Medium crude oils to product gasoline, ultra-low-sulfur diesel, benzene and paraxylene.

The engineer will be required to support the refinery in the field of business and process computer networking covering all aspects from conceptual design through detailed engineering, day-to–day activities and long-term performance improvements.

Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will have:

A bachelor degree in computer or network engineering.

At least seven years of experience as a network engineering, preferably in the refinery, chemical plant or oil and gas industry.

Demonstrated experience supporting process control cybersecurity day-to-day operations, or process control network projects.

Experience in project commissioning field problems troubleshooting in electrical systems.

Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices, international standards and economic principles related to his field.

Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

Prepare approval of the problem reports. Plan, schedule and provide coordination and work direction as required for the preparation of objective of project.

Formulate the basis for an engineering study or project or design in any basic or special field by analyzing and evaluating all dates pertinent to assignment. Evaluate data as to scope, effect on existing installation, economic value, long range planning and budgetary considerations.

Lead and recommend new continuous improvement solution for installation or modification to improve existing facilities and standardization with in specific fields of endeavor. Estimate costs, prepare justifications and completes expenditure requests as required.

Support project execution and project proposals detailed work outline, makes decisions as to basic processes and or equipment, and final development of specialized or technical proposals and studies of proposed projects.

Discuss, coordinate and resolve problem with personnel. Act as technical consultant when required.

Review work of engineers directed. Check that reports are written according to established methods of good report presentation. Makes recommendations for future study or report changes. Approve report transmittal to supervisor.

Review work of third party.

Lead the implementation and operation of recommended solutions.
