Saudi Aramco, long known for its leadership in oil exploration, production, and refining, is seeking experienced professionals to join our growing Unconventional Resources (UR) program.
We are seeking an Exploration System Analyst who is expected to provide day-to-day high-level technical consultations on Unconventional data quality and Initiate and lead Unconventional high level data management and IT projects with impact on the business.
As an Exploration System Analyst working on the Unconventional Program you will analyze complex data management issues and implements sustainable solutions and perform in-depth development of data governance practices and implementations.
You will lead and involve in Unconventional Resources data management initiatives and projects and develop data security and protection policies and recommend enhancements as needed.
You will mentor professionals; develop training materials and conduct comprehensive training and develop/Analyze Unconventional Resources Data Processes.

As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems. An advanced degree is preferred.
You will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in upstream business functions, with a minimum of 8 years in intensive data management.
You will have understanding and in-depth knowledge of data management concepts, business processes, data standards, master data management, model designs, and data governance concepts.
You will demonstrate a high level of knowledge in upstream domains data, with the ability to create and use cross-discipline processes to implement best-practice approaches.
Have expertise in systems and applications development processes and strong capabilities to lead projects and teams on data management activities.
Excellent computer skills with wide experience in databases applications and systems and outstanding English communication skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Contribute to UR data business processes and recommend improvements through Identifying gaps within existing processes.
Champion deployments of required UR-DM tools with Saudi Aramco Exploration Computer Center.
Proactively identify data bottlenecks with existing UR data management environment and formulates solutions, alternatives and recommendations to resolve them.
Champion the deployment/documentation of UR data standards Provides central direction and control over complex theoretical and practical UR data management projects, and work with cross-functional teams for implementations, review/monitor project progress, and generate needed reports.
Ensure sustainable implementation and enforcement of UR data management policies, standards, and procedures.
Serve as UR data senior representative to facilitate internal/external technical meetings and communication between the development team and all stakeholders.
Mentor young professionals; develop training materials and conduct comprehensive training.
Periodically review data management standards and protection policies for enhancing data integrity and security.
Represent Saudi Aramco in dealing with data management vendors and outside consultations.
Provide technical expertise and technical consulting on UR data quality assurance and quality control measurements.
Set a clear leadership example in promoting health, safety, and environmental awareness.
