We are seeking an Electrical Engineer specialist in Distribution Systems to work under Abqaiq Plants Operation Department (APOD).
APOD process hydrocarbons at the highest standards of safety, reliability, efficiency and in an environmentally responsible way through empowered competent teams and using state of the art technologies.
As a successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in electrical engineering with specialty in power systems.
You should have minimum of 9 years’ experience in distribution systems (Utilities Company) with at least 4 years of work experience in UPS (uninterruptable power supply) and DC systems.
You must be able to perform power systems studies, troubleshooting, commissioning, and upgrade projects.
You should have the knowledge of the following:
Electrical Motors (testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting);
UPS & DC systems trouble shooting, commissioning, and upgrade with well-known company ex (GUTOR, Benning, and CEG);
Distribution equipment (switchgears, motor control centers, circuit breakers, and motor starters),
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Develop in-house design packages for system addition/repair.
Manage electrical systems projects from design stage till commissioning.
Implement new power systems technologies to optimize energy and sustain production.
Conduct power systems performance analysis
Manage systems lifecycle.
Train and develop young engineers.
