We are seeking a Process Engineer to join the Sothern Area Oil Operations Technical Support Department/ Sothern Area Technical Support Division (SAOOTSD/SATSD)
SAOOTSD/SATSD directs and overseas the overall performance of 30+ Gas Oil Separation Plants (GOSPs) in Sothern Area Oil Operations (SAOO). The role involves monitoring Crude Oil Quality, Process Bottlenecks and performance optimization.
As a successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
You must have a minimum of nine years’ experience in process engineering.
You must have intensive experience with process simulation tools such as HYSYS and with Produced water treatment and technologies
You must have intensive experience E. Experience with crude oil stabilization and process gas conditioning.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You are required to perform the following:
Support SAOO TSD team monitoring Crude Quality and troubleshoot offsets through PI Data analysis, field visits and collaboration with plant operations.
Take a leading role in analyzing operational challenges and work with other interties to find solutions to address the challenge and work with proponent to fund and implement the solution.
Represent SAOO on all corporate studies and investigations that affect more than one operating department
Research available new technologies and work with departments to fund and pilot test them in the facilities.
Partner with SAOO operating dept.'s to identify challenges and limitations to meet MSC with short and long term plans and review the impacts of 20 years forecast.
Work with Engineering Services and the operating departments on means to improve performance and reduce processing costs including optimization/debottlenecking studies and assessment of new technologies.
