Position Description:
Saudi Aramco are seeking an Environmental Coordinator to join the Drilling & Workover Services Department within Drilling and Workover (D&WO).

Drilling & Workover Services Department is responsible for providing all services to all Drilling and Workover rigs.

The Environmental Coordinator’s primary role is to coordinate all environmental activities within the department, including industrial hygiene, environmental health, and waste management.

Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering from a recognized and approved program.

You will have 10 years’ experience in the environmental field, including industrial hygiene, environmental health, and waste management, of which at least 5 years should be with drilling.

Significant experience in environmental compliance, environmental health and water conservation.

Knowledge of managing and handling chemicals as well as waste management and wastewater treatment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

Implement the corporate environmental policy, monitor compliance, and obtain technical advice from the Environmental Protection Department (EPD), as well as respond to concerns and requests for information.

Be up to date with all environmental issues that pertain to the organization, particularly any identified noncompliance issues.

Stay current with all applicable environmental regulations, standards, procedures and guidelines, as well as all Saudi Aramco environmental programs.

Maintain records of all waste (including wastewater) generated by the organization, and work with EPD to develop waste minimization plans.

Review and comment on environmental aspects of contract documents.

Provide needed support for the implementation of the HAZCON program.

Coordinate all EMS-related activities within the organization as appropriate, including the development of environmental objectives and indicators, tracking of performance and costs, and record-keeping and reporting functions.

Work with safety inside the department and handle all safety requirements.
