We are seeking an HR Communications Consultant to join the HR Communications Group within the Personnel Department.
The HR Communications Group is responsible for communicating on behalf of HR to all Saudi Aramco employees. The team develops and executes strategic and tactical communication programs and campaigns in support of key business objectives and stakeholders. It offers the successful applicant a unique workplace to further expand professional skills underpinned by a strong commitment to training and personal development.
The HR Communications Consultant’s primary role will be to work with communication and HR colleagues, business leaders, project managers, and subject matter experts to determine HR communication needs for the business. You will develop and implement strategic communication plans in support of HR projects, programs, policies, and services. Work to build trust and credibility, which will be evidenced by high engagement of the stakeholders. Coordinate communication activities with multiple partners across the business and develop and present materials to stakeholders from executives to general employees.
The HR Communications Consultant also produces a wide variety of communications collateral such as intranet content, articles, newsletters, presentations, talking points, reports, key message documents, announcements, and scripts. You will also design and conduct online surveys, focus groups, and other communication measurement while participating in creative brainstorming and problem solving.
Most importantly, you will be well versed and experienced in strategic and tactical communications, being able to both plan and execute.
As the successful candidate you will hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, journalism, marketing, or technical writing from a recognized and approved program. A master’s degree is preferred.
You will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in communication roles. Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
You should be active in the communications field with participation in a professional society such as the IABC, STC, or IPRA.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Develop and review corporate announcements, including verification of information, consultation with subject matter experts, and verification of target audiences.
Develop and execute communications for HR projects, programs, policies, and services. This includes developing and implementing strategic communications plans.
Produce a wide variety of communications collateral.
Manage content on multiple communications channels.
Assist with crisis communications, assisting emergency response teams with needed communications or tasks in the event of a crisis.
Provide communications support for various administrative functions.
Support and mentor junior HR Communications Consultants in their roles.
