Position Description:
We are seeking an HR Advisor to join the Dollar/Sterling Unit at our Southern Area HR Service Center Division (SA HRSCD).

The Dollar/Sterling Unit in SA HRSCD is responsible for handling expatriate payroll HR issues as well providing customer service.

As the successful candidate you will be a point of contact for HR matters raised by members of management, employees, ex-employees and some in-Kingdom and out-of-Kingdom organizations by providing advisory, assistance, and administrative services on the Company’s policies, procedures, and programs, as well as Labor laws and GOSI/benefits related matters. This involves all or any combination of personnel administration, compensation, benefits, grievances, as well as other functions in sensitive areas requiring sound judgement and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in HR, social science, or a related degree in business and management from a recognized and approved program.

You must have at least 6 years of related experience within the HR industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

Provide appropriate advice to employees and members of management on HR matters; including counselling, performance reviews, corrective guidance, compensation, benefits, social insurance, workmen’s compensation, grievances, terminations, and resolutions of work-related issues.

Coordinate with a range of internal and external organizations to review special HR cases; such as workmen’s compensation.

Enhance and maintain a high quality of staff relations by establishing and maintaining an effective and knowledgeable relationship with management and employees.

Act as our Company’s representative on routine HR issues with external institutions and government entities.

Enhance and improve employee relations by recommending and implementing changes in policies, procedures, and practices that directly influence the working environment of employees.

Handle and coordinate emergency situations and coverage on a rotational 24-hour availability basis.
Ensure proper documentation and data management of HR cases maintaining professionalism with a high ability in ensuring confidentiality.

Provide work direction to junior staff in the unit.

Work as a team member and participate in any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
