Position Description:
We are seeking an HR Coordinator to join the Planning and Administration Support Unit of the Personnel Department.

The Planning and Administration Support Unit is responsible for all Personnel Department planning, training, and administration support functions. The team develops and executes strategic planning and training to develop all professional and nonprofessional employees within the Company’s training programs. It offers the successful applicant a unique workplace to further expand professional skills underpinned by a strong commitment to training and personal development.

The HR Coordinator’s primary role is collaborating with HR colleagues, business leaders, project managers, and subject matter experts to determine business and personal development opportunities for employees. You will develop and implement strategic plans in support of business needs, programs, policies, and services; coordinate developmental activities with multiple partners across the business; and develop and present materials to stakeholders from executives to general employees.
The HR Coordinator also produces a wide variety of employees’ development activities including monitoring the progress of the employees and programs, and schedule reviews and carries out duties based on business needs. The HR Coordinator also manages salary planning/administration and ensures that employees’ performance appraisals are within guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in HR/business administration or a related business major from a recognized and approved program. A master’s degree is preferred.

You will have a minimum of 7 years of experience within HR roles. Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.

You should be currently active in the HR field with participation in a professional society such as the CIPD.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

Assist management and supervisors in the planning and preparation of development plans for professional employees in the Department.

Prepare long-range forecasts of organizational input needs for professional and industrial training/development to accomplish timely expatriate replacement.

Coordinate the development of on-job training programs as required to meet objectives.

Arrange training for selected candidates with Career Development.

Ensure the timely preparation, discussion, and submission of performance appraisals.

Monitor and take development actions appropriate for performance reviews.

Develop and monitor succession planning.

Develop and coordinate development programs for the Department’s leaders.
