Position Description:
We are seeking a human resource analyst to join our HR Joint Venture Support Division within the Personnel Department.

The Personnel Department’s main role is to provide HR advice and service to management and employees
Kingdomwide. The Department is responsible for ensuring the efficient administration of HR programs,
policies, and benefits as well as providing consistent customer service.

The HR Joint Venture Support Division serves as the focal point for Human Resources related issues pertaining to Saudi Aramco joint ventures (JVs), subsidiaries, and affiliates. The division acts as a change agent by continuously assessing and anticipating HR related needs and developing integrated HR solutions.

The HR Analyst’s primary role is to support Saudi Aramco JVs and subsidiaries with HR functional activities. You must be able to initiate, lead, provide analysis, and conduct presentations related to assigned projects in the development and execution of various human capital solutions for JVs, subsidiaries, and affiliates. You must also have a working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation, benefits, human capital management, organizational development, and training and development. You must have the skill and desire to work as a team member and must be able and willing to train young Saudis and new hires. You must have strong skills to conduct studies and research on matters pertaining to existing policies, procedures, and programs in close coordination with senior HR analysts; be able to provide advice and guidance on policy interpretations to JV HR staff up to the levels of middle management; and should participate in meetings/discussions relative to matters within your own area of assignment.

Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in HR or a business/system related discipline from a recognized and approved program. A master’s degree is preferred.

You should have 5 to 7 years of experience in HR functions, preferably in JV startup support due diligence, staffing, training, change management, as well as human capital program design. Five (5) years of this experience must be as a senior HR professional.

You will have achieved recognition in your field through one of the HR certifications in HRM or HRD and a history of active participation in professional society activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

Act as a “client relationship rep.” with one or more Saudi Aramco JVs, subsidiaries, and affiliates to establish and maintain clear lines of communication between Saudi Aramco and its partners.

Assist in the identification of staffing needs and facilitate the development and execution of HR solutions.
Assist in the identification and new startup requirements and facilitate the development and execution of HR solutions.

Explore opportunities for shared HR services resulting in efficiencies and improved services by leveraging economies of scale and technologies. This will be gauged by both quantitative and qualitative means.

Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR groups to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

Review the effectiveness of HR policies and procedures to identify the most practical approaches.

Deliver workshops and forums, and coordinate relevant meetings to share lessons learned.

Act as a task force member as assigned to solve special problems in your area of expertise.

Assess the effectiveness of policies and instructions within your own area of assignment and recommend revisions.

Conduct surveys and cost/benefit analysis to support policy reviews or applications of new procedures in determining feasibility of proposals.
