We are seeking a System Analyst (Internet of Things) to join the Digital Transformation Group of the Support Business Applications Dept.
The Digital Transformation Group is responsible for implementing the Saudi Aramco Digital Transformation Program.
The System Analyst’s primary role is to implement the Internet of Things (IoT) solutions in the Company including Smart City and industrial use cases.
As the successful candidate you will hold a bachelor’s degree in any IT related majors from a recognized and approved program.
You will have three to five years of experience in Smart City or industrial IoT solutions with end-to-end implementation as a solutions architect or solutions engineer.
You will have knowledge of the different IoT platforms
You must have knowledge of IoT connectivity protocols
You will be able to demonstrate ability to find solutions for implementation problems
You will have excellent communication skills
You will have experience in dealing with vendors
Hands-on experience in connecting sensors to platforms and developing apps is important
Experience integrating solutions with IoT platforms or knowledge is important
Experience in one or more of the following use cases:
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Help assess vendors’ Smart City solutions; work on IoT implementation in Smart City and industrial use cases
Build a plan for implementing Smart City and IoT solutions and a foundation for future implementation
Help in integrating sensors to edge devices and platforms
Work on building a strategy, procedures and guidelines for IoT implementations that cover future solutions, upgrades and security requirements
Leverage IoT platform capabilities such as digital twin, blockchain and analytics
Innovate in IoT solutions
The Engineering & Project Management (E&PM) business line studies, plans and oversees the construction of the Company’s new facilities, including some of the biggest and most complex projects in the petroleum industry. Recently, Saudi Aramco completed the largest capital program in its history that included new or expanded oil, gas and petrochemical facilities, raising maximum sustainable crude oil production capacity to 12 million barrels per day and significantly increasing gas production and processing capacities. Among the recently completed projects was the largest crude oil increment in the history of the industry: Khurais, with a production capacity of 1.2 million barrels per day. More challenges lie ahead, with a slate of new or expanded oil, gas, refining and petrochemical projects in the works. E&PM also manages the Company’s Research & Development Center where scientists investigate topics such as the desulfurization of crude oil, advanced fuel formulations for next generation combustion engines, and reservoir nano-scale robots (Resbots™) for injection into reservoirs to record their properties.
