We are seeking a Digital Designer to join the Digital Communication Division of the Corporate Communication Department.
As the successful candidate you will:
Hold a Master's Degree in Digital Media, Human Computer Interaction Design, or related field.
Have at least 5-10 years’ experience as a digital designer within an advertising agency.
Demonstrate an expert knowledge of all aspects of the user-centered design (UCD) principles, processes, and approaches with the ability to apply them flexibly across a variety of project types.
Exceptional design aesthetics with UI folio to demonstrate.
Have strong experience across Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and OmniGraffle.
Be familiar with Agile and Sprint working methodologies.
Have a strong understanding of best practice interaction and visual design principles.
Be able to represent creative ideas through sketch and/or prototypes development.
Be able to actively contribute to the development of the technological transformation to a digital culture through a passionate and sharing-oriented approach.
Be able to present complex ideas in a simple, engaging, and effective way.
Be fluent in English (both oral and written).
Have a deep knowledge of new technologies including Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and gamification to meet business and communication requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Participate in, and contribute to, all stages (scoping, beginning, milestones, final) of any external digital touch point development projects to guide and/or manage them from the user experience design point of view for ensuring the user experience layer of the service/product meets or exceeds the industry standard.
Be a user experience (UX) guardian between Saudi Aramco and third party vendors who are developing Saudi Aramco’s digital touch points to help them with:
- aligning the vision and objectives.
- defining the development process and milestones.
- ensuring all requirements are captured and applied to UX artefacts.
- evaluating the UX outcome of each milestones.
Establish and manage Saudi Aramco UX strategy (external), which includes the vision, use cases, style guides, wireframes, design criteria, etc.
Manage user experience design artefacts on the Digital Brand Center.
Review and develop the user experience design layer of Saudi Aramco as a brand, such as revisiting the user journey of aramco.com and finding room to improve; evaluating and updating existing UI assets; translating requirements to features or new services.
Create awareness of the digital touch point development process.
