Position Description:
We are seeking a Contracts Advisor to join the SF/MNIF/BRR/ABS Maintain Potential Projects Division of Offshore Projects Department (OPD).

The SF/MNIF/BRR/ABS Maintain Potential Projects Division is responsible for provides facilities to maintain crude oil production potential from offshore fields. With the installation of platforms, pipelines, electric submersible pumps, sub-sea power cables and miscellaneous other items for Safaniya, Manifa, Berry and Abu Safa Fields.

The Contracts Advisor primary role is to support the Division in all Contractual issues as: ensure contractor compliance with terms and conditions of contracts; prepare, review and monitor contract actions in SAP; work in coordination with Contracting and Law department when necessary; participate in the process of claims and change orders.

Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate, you will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Engineering discipline.

You will have a minimum of seven years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least two years in Contracts/Subcontract Management or Cost Estimation.

You will have thorough knowledge in financial studies preparation to establish contractual services related to project execution.

You must have an in-depth knowledge of contract terms and conditions for contractor compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

You will be required to work with others members of the Project Management Team, others Divisions and Departments, to prepare financial studies that establish technical and financial for contract service and evaluation of alternatives.

Prepare company Estimates or work with the Company estimating functions in the preparation of the estimates.

Participate in change order negotiations.

Perform periodic examination of contract administration in the field.

Respond to all queries regarding contract compliance

Prepare, review and monitor all the Contract SAP actions in SAP.

The Engineering & Project Management (E&PM) business line studies, plans and oversees the construction of the Company’s new facilities, including some of the biggest and most complex projects in the petroleum industry. Recently, Saudi Aramco completed the largest capital program in its history that included new or expanded oil, gas and petrochemical facilities, raising maximum sustainable crude oil production capacity to 12 million barrels per day and significantly increasing gas production and processing capacities. Among the recently completed projects was the largest crude oil increment in the history of the industry: Khurais, with a production capacity of 1.2 million barrels per day. More challenges lie ahead, with a slate of new or expanded oil, gas, refining and petrochemical projects in the works. E&PM also manages the Company’s Research & Development Center where scientists investigate topics such as the desulfurization of crude oil, advanced fuel formulations for next generation combustion engines, and reservoir nano-scale robots (Resbots™) for injection into reservoirs to record their properties.
