We are seeking a Rotating Equipment Specialist in Gas Turbines to work under Abqaiq Plants Maintenance Department (APMD).
APMD process hydrocarbons at the highest standards of safety, reliability, efficiency and in an environmentally responsible way through empowered competent teams and using state of the art technologies.
The engineer will be working with the plant rotating equipment engineering team that is responsible for the rotating equipment of the utilities plants in Abqaiq Plants.
As a successful candidate, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, MS is preferred.
You should have a minimum of 10 years extensive experience in engineering, maintenance, testing, commissioning and operation of gas turbines in specific and other rotating equipment in general (Gas Compressors and centrifugal pumps).
You must have adequate skills in condition monitoring, troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis.
You should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of the Oil and gas process and Utilities systems.
A Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Chartered Engineer (C. Eng.) license or registration is desirable.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You are expected to be able to perform the following:
Provide gas turbine engineering support when required by the plant maintenance and operation.
Support gas turbine inspection and major overhaul.
Provide technical support for the plant rotating equipment including air compressors, steam turbines, pumps and their auxiliary systems.
Carry out rotating equipment failure troubleshooting and propose corrective actions.
Help the team to maintain the highest achievable life, availability and reliability of the plant rotating equipment by carrying out RCA, technology deployment, performance monitoring, etc.
Propose, support and manage the plant rotating equipment upgrade and replacement projects.
Support in the rotating equipment maintenance strategy development and review.
