Position Description:
We are seeking for a Chemical Process Engineer to join the Engineering Division under Northern Area Gas Producing Department (NAGPD). The department operate and maintain Karan, Arabiyah, and Hasbah offshore gas producing fields and Khursaniyah onshore gas field, and will continue add new gas facilities.

You will be part of the engineering team, accountable for resolving fields’ engineering challenges based on your engineering area of responsibilities. You will resolve process and operations issues, provide operations support, troubleshooting, investigations, technical studies and project support.

Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.

Minimum of 10 years process engineering experience, including 5 years related to offshore gas platforms operations and subsea natural gas challenges.

Experience in participating in safety/model reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, QRA, 3D Model).

Sufficient management and communication skills in order to mentor young engineers.

Flexible to work in remote location with and possible assignments at offshore whenever required.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You are expected to be able to perform the following:

Work closely with Operations and Maintenance team and monitor process parameters in daily bases to identify and resolve the technical issues.

Prepare engineering procedures to carry out operations and maintenance activities.

Assess the performance of the facilities, propose and implement design modifications to improve the safety, reliability and operational flexibility of the facilities.

Lead and/or participate in alone or with multi-disciples taskforces and in multi-cultural environment the investigation of facilities upsets / incidents and issue reports/technical papers with recommendations

Prepare the trip reports under his area of responsibilities.

Review engineering reports and design packages submitted by engineering organizations or PMT. Coordinate comments back as required.

Participate in project related issues including design, FAT, pre-commissioning, walkthroughs, commissioning, startup and performance testing as requested.
