Position Description:
We are seeking a Business Development Analyst to join the Transaction Department of New Business Development (NBD).

NBD is responsible for creating new business opportunities for the Company while also contributing to the Kingdom’s economic growth. Our past successes have focused on the development of mega-projects in refining and petrochemicals. Today, we are focusing on pursuing initiatives seeking more ambitious contributions to the Kingdom’s economic development, which will also enhance the Company’s operations.

Your primary role is to support activities related to developing an originated business venture or a portfolio of ventures. You must be able to participate in project teams that pickup newly identified business opportunities that have been initially evaluated, and transform them into material opportunities with potential partners. This entails mainly formalizing transactions whether Joint ventures or mergers and acquisitions into detailed definitive agreements, by selecting ideal partners and commercially negotiating with them, then taking the developed business case through management approvals until deal closing.
An applicant should possess significant relevant experience within one or more industries that will allow the applicant to be considered a subject matter expert for that industry.
Strong interpersonal skills are required to enable the applicant to engage both other internal organizations supporting the work to ensure alignment, and external organizations that provide key support and incentives to realize the opportunity as well as the investor(s).
An applicant should have demonstrated strong financial analytical skills that include the ability to evaluate both industry and individual company information, to discuss opportunities and identify methodologies to bridge gaps in negotiations, while still safeguarding Saudi Aramco’s financial and strategic interests.

Minimum Requirements:
A successful candidate will have the following:

A Bachelor’ degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or its equivalent. A graduate degree is desirable, as well as any advanced professional competence evidenced by professional licenses and/or other forms of continuing professional education.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business development is needed.

Achieved recognition as a subject matter expert in business development, and have specific experience in such as areas as venturing, commercialization, or other areas of business development specialization.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will perform the following:

Support the business development process from negotiating key commercial terms, through detailing definitive agreements all the way to deal closure.
Drive negotiations to progress proposals through stage gates.

Prioritize business proposals against investment criteria and NBD’s portfolio strategy.

Support the development of the scope and objectives of the deal, offering commercial solutions that make up Saudi Aramco’s business offering.

Assist with the investor team to establish strategic, financial, and operational milestones for the new venture.
Coordinate with internal subject matter expert groups, such as Law, Finance, Corporate Planning, etc., to ensure deal progress.

Work with internal organizations and external investors to materialize new business opportunities.

Prepare and present briefing materials and presentations to the Company’s Senior Management.

Ensure that the proper documentation is maintained on all business venture development work.
