We are seeking a Data Scientist to join the Digital Transformation Office.
Digital Transformation is responsible for providing MPR will enable Digital Transformation to meet business needs, detail the scope of use cases, and design the appropriate analytics, machine learning, and deep learning algorithms to expedite the rollout of analytics solutions.
The Data Scientist’s primary role is as a data scientist, who will work on digital strategy development, emerging technologies, full-life cycle data science. The position requires that the candidate will work with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), deep learning algorithms and large datasets and therefore requires experience with unstructured data, experience in data architecture and data quality. Candidate will also be responsible for developing and implementing AI, ML and deep learning algorithms and build models that run on various platforms using tools such as Python and.
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS. Engineering or Mathematics from a recognized and approved program.
You will have twelve plus years hands on experience in IT and digital technologies, including at least eight years plus hands on data science projects, algorithm design and development experience.
You will have;

A thorough understanding of information systems security, network architecture, database concepts
Solid understanding of networked computing environment concepts
Programming experience using multiple tools

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Manage a team of data scientists, AI, machine learning engineers and big data specialists
Work with large sets of data and establish accurate and scalable analytics systems across applications
Develop and implement state-of-the-art analytical algorithms for object detection, segmentation, classification, and recognition
Model complex discovering insights and identify business opportunities through the use of algorithmic, statistical, visualization, and mining techniques
Translates business requirements into quick prototypes and enable the development of big data capabilities, frameworks, and governance processes in the department and the business at large
Develop data mining and collection procedures
Ensure data quality and integrity
Interpret and analyze data problems
Conceive, plan and prioritize data projects
Build analytic systems and predictive models
Test performance of data-driven products
Visualize data and create reports
Experiment with new models and techniques

The Engineering & Project Management (E&PM) business line studies, plans and oversees the construction of the Company’s new facilities, including some of the biggest and most complex projects in the petroleum industry. Recently, Saudi Aramco completed the largest capital program in its history that included new or expanded oil, gas and petrochemical facilities, raising maximum sustainable crude oil production capacity to 12 million barrels per day and significantly increasing gas production and processing capacities. Among the recently completed projects was the largest crude oil increment in the history of the industry: Khurais, with a production capacity of 1.2 million barrels per day. More challenges lie ahead, with a slate of new or expanded oil, gas, refining and petrochemical projects in the works. E&PM also manages the Company’s Research & Development Center where scientists investigate topics such as the desulfurization of crude oil, advanced fuel formulations for next generation combustion engines, and reservoir nano-scale robots (Resbots™) for injection into reservoirs to record their properties.
